What should I plant in my garden this fall? Lots of things! Fall is a great time to garden, weed and pest pressure is generally less in the fall and winter compared to the warmer months. September and October are great times to plant kale, chard, hardy herbs, onions, lettuce, and chicories. Late October into early November is the time to plant garlic (consider planting garlic in the space where this year's tomatoes grew.)
